Rathore Haveli, Udaipur
There was a buzz going on. Everybody was running around the place to fix it.
It looked like a tornado was coming soon. It couldn't be any less true.
The head of the Rajput family is coming and that man doesn't like mess, nonsense and ladies out of their place.
Brijesh Singh Rathore
He is head of business and family. In the business world, he is known to be a cunning and shrewd businessman. He built it by zero and got it successfully.
But his thinking about women is still orthodox. Girls are something he likes to bear but he doesn't have a choice when his son wants a girl and gets it.
He bears it for the first born son. His wife died in an accident without her. He lost the little soft edges he had.
Riya Singh Rathore
She is granddaughter of Brijesh Singh Rathore. They have an understanding to never be around each other.
She built her small chain cafe bookstore and helps her dad in business when needed but that's a hidden fact of father-daughter.
Her working is not acceptable or approved by her grandfather but that doesn't stop her.
She doesn't live with family. She has got an old house. According to her, living alone is better than living with people who don't want her.
But today, her mother called her saying it's urgent. Which is making her doubt as usually she doesn't visit haveli. If her parents want them to come over to her house.
She knows her grandfather landed today after 1 month so calling her won't be for any good reason. That may turn her life upside down like always.
She has always been independent and alone.
Walking inside after parking her second hand down car. She came to see the house is getting decorated like there is going to be a wedding.
She walked into the kitchen where she will find her mother and other family ladies.
Three ladies are seen ordering maids right and left to arrange things accordingly.
"Why is so much fuss happening ?" She said after meeting each one of the ladies.
"Your grandfather ordered a party, that's what is going on." Tulsi Singh Rathore my aunt said
"He said something about business and some deal, that's all I knew from sources" Samara Singh Rathore my youngest aunt said
"You get ready, I sent your dress and everything in the room and you are staying here tonight. No argument on this." Maitri Singh Rathore my mother strictly told
Huffing and stealing some snacks. I walked to the garden from where chartering can be heard.
I can see all the kids are here. Finally something normal even for a while.
I might be the eldest but my brother's have got married and have kids now.
I have 3 nephews who are the soul of this house. Yes there is no girl apart from me till now and the saddest thing is there won't be any till my grandfather has to say.
I might be dearest to all because of being the only girl in this household but I am also the only hated person of his. Now, it doesn't even bother me anymore.
"Oh my munchkins, how are you three huh?" I grabbed these cuties in a hug.
"Buiiiiiiii" screamed my babies
"How are you all" squishing them close to me while kissing their heads.
"Gwd" Aryan Singh Rathore
"Gwd" Samar Singh Rathore
"Good, Bui" Rehan Singh Rathore grabbing hands
"How can you handle these monster so well" came voice of my sister in law
Riddhi Singh Rathore
"They are no monster, right my babies" I said seeing them playing with toys
"Yeah yeah, they are angels with you only else they all can makes all made" she said sitting beside me
"Where is my devils" referring to my brothers
"Office they have yet to come with dad" she muttered seeing phone
"Missing him huh" they were always in love since college I saw them together always.
"Obviously she is missing him, they can't stay apart for even few hours" came a voice
My bubbly but shy bhabhi Mrinal Singh Rathore
"Bhabhi" we heard riddhi whining
"Let's get ready now, soon people will start arriving" saying that
We all moved to our rooms to get ready or else the hitler will come and hunt us all.
He doesn't live with anymore. Since the last few years he has been living in old house in village.
Having a shower and blow drying my hair. I saw a beautiful anarkali suit in blue color.
I matched it with silver earrings and anklets and a small blue bindi. Letting my hair fall down on my shoulders and juttis rather than heels or I will fall badly.
Coming down in the hall I saw all ladies downing beautiful Indian attires with jewelry looking like goddesses.
"Oh my God, how are you all so beautiful huh" winking my sister in laws
I bend to pick Aryan, the youngest one and cutest with those chubby baby cheeks and light grayish blue eyes.
"Ohhhh, who looks like the most handsome man in the world" I said, kissing those irresistible chubby cheeks.
"Mmeeeeee" giggling from all the kisses and huggs
I tugged on my kurta to see my other nephews giving me puppy eyes for kisses. Looks like I am in demand for tonight. It's nice to forget everything in these sweet giggles and love.
We all sat to eat ice cream or more like play with ice cream for these three as they all were covered hands and face. How does no one know?
I can see people coming into the garden. Still lost for what reason I am trying to find out why a huge party suddenly happened.
I heard my phone buzzing, looking down I saw the caller. Now I am sure I will find why and what. I trust my team to dig any grave if asked.
I picked up the phone moving down the hall inside the room for silence.
